Plaster & Silt Traps - Internal
Plaster traps are designed to provide a filter within a draining system. Plaster traps are typically used in schools, art studios, medical and educational facilities. Using plaster without the proper trap systems could potentially damage drainage pipes and eventually cost a lot of money for repairs.
Plaster Traps are to be installed in a convenient position under the sink and away from electrical and electronic devices. They require sufficient headroom for removal and emptying of the inner solids Trap bucket. We have available a PVC Lid for our Plaster Traps when required.
A silt trap is a designated device where water that is contaminated with suspended sediment as a result of construction activity or water runoff is contained. While the water is in the trap, the sediment can settle to the bottom of the trap until it can be removed. Silt Traps help ensure your stormwater system works effectively and efficiently.
Civil and General Distributors offer both plaster traps and silt traps as part of its overall stormwater management system.
