Recently Civil and General Distributors supplied a Halgan MGTS4000 grease trap with D class covers and 2 x 600mm risers in a high-water table area near the Perth Swan River.

Where there is a high-water table, installation needs to ensure the grease trap is corrosion resistant and protected against buoyancy.

Halgan Grease Traps are manufactured from Polyethylene ensuring resistance to corrosion.

In accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, the installation of the Halgan MGTS4000D was concrete encased and backfilled with blue metal.

The installation in concrete encasement and with blue metal backfill generated a very safe and effective installation.
