​One of our sales team was recently called out to a customer’s site to inspect marks on some of our Stainless Steel SPS grates and cleanouts.

Upon investigation, the marks had been caused by metal filings from in and around the surrounding area that had settled for a period of time on the grates and cleanouts. The metal filings began to mark and bleed the oxide over the stainless steel surface. This is a common issue on building sites.

A household green scourer was used by our sales team member to remove the contamination and left them looking like new!
